How Do I Run Diagnostics On My Kenmore Elite 79629002000 Top Load Washer Repair Manual

Topic: Kenmore HE Topload Washer Out of Balance (Display shows UE) Model 796.29002000  (Read 51698 times)

My washer is less than 1.5 Years Former and the display shows UE (Out of Residuum) during Spin mode (with/without laundry). The Basket moves freely both direction'due south, Legs are level and the Back up/Suspension Rod'south wait fine. I checked the Sensor Assembly (p/n EBD50360202 located in lower rear corner past Drain Pump) with Multimeter and it has NO Continuity (the wire harness has continuity). I looked inside the Chiffonier for a Tech Sail to assist me simply it wasn't there . Therefore, would the part mentioned above cause the UE fault code? If not, do you have a Service Manual or can you tell me how to run a Diagnostic Test.

Some of these washers were fixed past removing the counterweight at the base of operations of the tub and calculation 2 springs. I believe their is a buletin on it:
I practice not know if it applys to your washer.

My Washer is fabricated by LG (not Whirlpool) and I found the Service Manual from your website (listed under LG Meridian Load Washer). Anyway, I got it to spin in the Diagnostic Test then I ran the Drain/Spin Cycle and information technology worked . Therefore if it happens once more, I'll test the Hall Sensor (aka Rotor Position Sensor) with my Multimeter.

That sensor that yous take checked is for the waveforce feature (Called something else for Kenmore.) If the waveforce feature is powerful enough to cause slight splashing, it volition accrue on the top of the tub encompass and localize in the x o'clock position into a funnel. This funnel is located directly above that sensor. It drips on the sensor and tells the computer, HEY SLOW It DOWN BOSS! It should read open when dry, and airtight when wet from splashing. The Main pcb and wiring deport out the orders of the Display pcb. If the unit of measurement flashes unbalanced fifty-fifty when EMPTY, I would recommend having the software version checked to be certain information technology was upward to date. Sear's sent an Appliance Repairman who updated the Software but it didn't set the problem.
Question: Does the UE error code only brandish during Spin or can it besides brandish during Agitate/Wash?

Should only testify in spin when outer tub is engaged to the motor assembly. When in agitate, the tub is locked in to a "static country" only allowing the agitator plate to move. I have updated LG pinnacle loaders and had the machine display unbalanced when EMPTY after the update. I and so replaced the display assembly, which appeared to have care of the issue. No guarantees on these machines, they are VERY picky.

You may not have too much luck with them sending you the office. However if the recall update seemed to brand information technology worse, ask if it may be possible to take the display PCB be replaced with the electric current software uploaded. The function numbers ARE different. Does it seem the same or worse/ameliorate than before/after the update?

It was the aforementioned after the Update that was done yesterday. Yet, today I ran it empty using the Diagnostic Test for Spin and information technology worked then I ran the Drain/Spin Cycle and it completed without whatsoever mistake codes. Tomorrow, I'll run information technology with a load of laundry and encounter what happens.
If I get the UE mistake again then I'll phone call Sear'due south to discuss the problem/part.
Otherwise, I'll order information technology from one of your sources listed above (if needed) but I assume information technology won't accept the software update.

I was reading that a out of balance tin can be acquired with the spring in the clutch on the topload lg's.The logic comes from LG's repairs for the problem. I have one that has had everything replaced'south so I ordered one. I will update if it resolves the issue.Wondered if anyone else had run into this, and how yous tell if the clutch is the problem?Without replacing everything else !!

I really like there washers. And take non had a lot of bug with them,but now have 3 that keep unbalancing. Looking at the records on them about everything has been replaced,a couple of at least twice.Software was updated also. And then I'm trying a clutch on ane. I I actually think is customer issue. But that still leaves the other two.And yes they all spin. Thanks, hopefully Wild or John can share some information.
